When batteries must be left in your RV, even if you make sure all 12V lights and everything is turned off and or 12V disconnects are off there usually is still some draw on the batteries. New RV’s have many electronics which need voltage to retain memory. RV’s sitting outside usually experience colder weather. The cold itself will cause your battery to lose its charge. Once a battery loses its charge it will freeze and swell or crack. Either way the battery cannot be saved with any amount of charging after this occurs. No manufacturer or battery supplier will warranty a battery once it has been frozen. R’N R will not pay for batteries, which have been frozen.
Battery maintenance is your responsibility!

7. Your RV is equipped with a converter. When your RV’s power cord is plugged in to 110V, power supply will charge your batteries, however you cannot plug in your RV all winter without checking fluid levels twice a month. Your converter charge will still cause an excessive loss of fluid, as it is intended to charge batteries during normal use of the RV. If fluid level in a battery drops too low in between these fluid checks, the cells in the battery will become exposed. Once the cells are exposed, fatal damage will occur.
Therefore, whether your cells become exposed or your battery freezes, Manufactures or R’NR will not warranty your batteries, as battery maintenance is your responsibility.

Battery maintenance is one of the most common causes of problems. Your RV systems need full 12V and 110V supply to function properly.

Lack of maintenance to these systems will result in additional expenses to you, the owner. R’N R RV Center will not be responsible for problems due to the neglect of these systems.
