Wood Paneling
Mix 4 to 5 ounces of oil soap with 1/2 pint of multi-purpose
kitchen cleaner and 1/2 pint of lukewarm water.
Grease Spots & Water Stains
For carpets and furniture use Ivory Soap® liquid and mix
with cold water only. Rub spot with a white cloth (no colors)
or any kind of brush.
Heavy Grease, Tar, Gum, Etc..
Use lighter fluid, pour on spot, wait 60 seconds, and peel
off.
Cleaning Windows
Mix cold water with vinegar or ammonia; wipe with paper towels.
Wood Care
The best polish for wood is lemon oil. Wipe on and polish
with a soft cloth. Good for shower doors (eliminates water
spots), stainless steel, fiberglass.
Chrome, Fiberglass, Stainless Steel
When cleaning, always use a triple fine steel wool or finer
grade, never coarse, even on wood. Always make sure surface
is wet with water or cleaning agent, scrub and wipe off with
paper towel or cloth to a nice gloss.
Venetian Blinds
Use a cloth or duster and spray with furniture polish.
Draw Cords for Venetian Blinds, Drapes or Shades
Use liquid shoe polish on a sponge or cloth and run down cord;
looks brand new!
Keep Refrigerator Fresh
To counteract food odors put baking soda, barbecue bricks,
or fresh coffee grounds in the refrigerator.
Velour Fabric Care
Vacuum with soft brush, then use a stiff brush to even out.
Dog or Cat Hair
Use masking tape turned over sticky side down or a lint brush
to remove hair.
Window Tracks
Use crevice tool of vacuum cleaner or soft hair paint brush.
Spray with furniture polish. Use a bar of soap to run across
tracks so they will slide easier.
