Please consult with your RV Dealer to ensure you are using the right caulking material for your roof before
It has been a dry summer with lots of sunshine this year which is great for camping but can be very tough on your roof! We recommend cleaning and checking seals/caulking for chips, flaking, cracking, and missing pieces around your AC, fans, vents and outer edge of your roof 3 times each season
Cleaning - Water, dish soap, and a long scrub brush are all you need. Clean the roof before checking seals. Take your time and go slow as soap and water will make the roof a slippery.
Caulking - Caulking will flake and chip over time. Good news is you can repair and replace yourself. We have everything you need in our parts department and can walk you through the procedure.
Seals - If you see any cracks, missing pieces, or anything unordinary with your seals you need to get them checked out to prevent further damage.
The sun can do significant damage a roof over time if not attended too. Take care of your roof and it will take care of you!
