Keep Informed and Prepared through this Fire Season!

Here are links to information on the fires, air quality, and what the evacuation levels mean.

InciWeb – Incident Information System shows updated reports of each of the fires. There are maps of the fires, photos, closures and announcements.

A Guide To Evacuation Levels, explains what it means to be on at a Level 1, 2 or 3 evacuation status. Remember, the best way to prepare for disaster is: Prepare your Home, Make a Kit, Have a Plan and Be Informed!

AirNow shows a real time Air Quality Index to keep you informed or the particles in the air, and what level we are currently at. There is also a Forecast which discusses what the forecast means to the fires and air quality.

The local news websites also are great resources for fire information happening now. Spokane stations are KREM, KHQ and KXLY or KLEW in Lewiston.

Please share any information on the fires you have with us.
